Martlesham Heath Control Tower Museum

Original World War II control tower built 1942. Museum depicts history of this famous airfield 1917-1979. It was the testing station for all aircraft pre-war. Was an important Battle of Britain base. Home to U.S.A.A.F 356FG 1943-1945. Blind landing and bomb ballistic tests post war.
